If you want good sandy beach and lots of it, great ,not a lot of night life for the younger element (teenage) other than bars and restaurants great for touring around,benidorm 15 mins away ,torrevieja 30 mins,or inland Guadalest great little village inland.best avoided late July and most of august when the whole of inland spain moves to the coast along with tourists ,not so pleasant then.if you have computer access ,input campello spain and you will gain a lot more info than i can give you.i can say that it was hot and warm here today,but very quite.
