Answers:
I travel quite a bit and belong to various hotel chain clubs (i.e. "Priority Club" with Intercontinental Hotels, "Marriott Rewards" and "Hilton Honors") and have found that Hilton Hotels are the most accomodating. Their rooms are always clean and those in charge are always willing to accomodate any request. The only time you may have problems (and this is with any hotel) is when the property is booked. Otherwise, late check-outs, room upgrades, etc. are always honored. Hiltons normally have nice pools and decent sized gyms as well with nice restaurants on the property. They are a little pricier than other chains but many times it is worth it.
Not worth the money by a long shot.
No, But I've Visited their Convention Center and why would they a Golf Course there, Golf Sucks.
too expensive for me
hilton heathrow is brilliant but do not attempt the toilets in the foyer at hilton new york without thick heavy duty boots and no sitting on the seats ladies.just rather dig out ure door key, wait for a lift and go back to ure room.so much more safer(i think!)
I've stayed the night at the Gatwick Hilton many times. It's a nice hotel with good restaurants, and it's only a few minutes walk from the terminal, but it's a little pricey.
I have seen it, saw a nice lamboghini infront of it, that was the best part. But never been in there,
Stayed in Hilton Cardiff.and was great as a treat. Amazingly we were about the only ones there - you think it's too expensive for normal people?!
Stayed in the Brighton Hilton. It was acceptable, but nothing special. Think you pay for the Hilton name! Nicholas Parsons was staying there though! wow
I have it was nice
I stayed in the Cardiff Hilton a couple of years ago and did an upgrade to an executive room, this turned out to be a rather good move as the room was right next to the presidential suite so it was massive, the upgrade also inculded dinner for 2 in their 5 Star restaurant and unlimited use of the executive lounge that overlooks Cardiff Castle which has beer/wine/spirits and you just help yourself to as much as you like, they also bring in hot snacks regularly. The cost of the room/dinner etc was £260 a night, a bargain if you ask me. The standards were ask you'd expect - rather excellent, i've never even seen a room that big before let alone stay in one.
Yes it was very nice.In Kuwait.. I didn't pay either. Thanks RAF budget :-)
Our Plane broke down Hee hee
I stayed in the Hilton in Sofia in April. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It was quite reasonable too. The staff all spoke perfect English and were very courteous and helpful.
I have stayed in a several Hiltons in the UK and in the US. They have all been clean, well presented and the staff have always been professional. No doubt, there is probably the odd HIlton in the UK that is particularly exceptional. However, my opinion is that within the UK they are generally located in an inconvenient location for holiday travel. The services you typically get and use are on par with those hotels you get in a better location at a lower room rate. The Hiltons in the UK can also seem a bit impersonal. However, the Hiltons in the UK are particularly suited to the business traveller and are geared as such. The Hiltons in the US, although like any major hotel chain, can seem a bit impersonal, are thought out a bit more. It still receives a significant proportion of its bookings from the business traveller. However, each hotel know its location and that the visitors will have different requirements from location to location. The hotels try to cater for the different requirements (for example, being able to get theatre tickets is perhaps more important to tourists in New York than in Dallas).
I used to travel quite a bit on business. I must say that overall Hilton is my favorite hotel chain. The Embassy Suites (a Hilton name brand) in Palm Beach and Hilton Gaslamp in San Diego are two of my favorites. They also seem to always have the closest hotel to the airport. This is certainly true in Chicago and LA.
I've stayed at several. Most were nice as far as amenities and cleanliness, but the service changed at each destination. Do NOT stay at the Hilton in Richmond, VA. The service is terrible and the rooms aren't clean - mold in the bathroom, stained beds, false charges on your bill.
ask Paris Hilton, she owns them ;-)
The one in Milwaukee is VERY expensive, but it's nice. There's an indoor waterpark, and the whole hotel looks like it's out of "The Shining".
I have stayed many times at the Nile Hilton in Cairo and have always had a fabulous time. The rooms are wonderful especially if you get a cabana which is just a step away from the pool! I have always gone either at Xmas or March time as that is when the Hilton stage a week long tennis tournament which is brilliant.
I stayed at the Hilton Hotel and Towers in Chicago?
We went to a conference dinner - it was really interesting there were about 2,500 seated guests at tables of 10. I had two tables and one of my guests was black.
Indeed he was the only black person seated in the whole room, but he wasn't the only black person in the room because almost all of the waiters were black. I thought that rather interesting.
was surprisingly good actually for the money and deal offered. you have different grades in hilton hotels so obviously the 5 star will be better than the lower star hotels!
