Thorpe holiday park?

Has anyone been here and is it good? whats on the park and round about?

Answers:
i used to live a couple of miles away from Thorpe park and went there often as a child it is mostly a family park with lots of cool thing for kids to do, stalls, amusements, arcades as well as the rides. also equally fun for adults who like theme parks!!
you can expect long queue's at thorpe park as the rides are very popular, you can get family tickets if i remember right which does cut the costs down. sorry i was only down there for a day and didn't go into town or around the area.
Thorpe Park isn't a holiday park it's an amusement park. It has big rollercoasters and water rides and things like that. You only go for the day, although I think there are hotels nearby if you wanted to make a holiday of it and pay to get in every day.

Alton Towers has hotels in it and you can go there for longer, like Disneyland but without big mice.
its a park based on an island surrounded by water, it has water rides and roller coaster, kids rides and an animal farm, its brill
you'll love it, its about the same as chessington world of adventure
