Phuket. Can you say girls, girls, girls.l Nothing better than a massage and a *******, buy a new tight, pert 18 year old everyday. Ahhh, Good Times
Hua Hin---beach and good size city. Also has open spaces. Kinda depends on what you like.
every place is interesting if you know how to enjoy. even alone
Cha-Am & Hua Hin suppose to be safer place for some one who is traveling alone. Nice beaches and good food.
Hi, Thailand has many different interests in different part of the country, so the question will be more of what are your interests?

Do you like the beach and the sea? Or do you like mountain and valleys? Does walking among ancient ruins excite you? Or are you more for theme parks? Shopping?

Different places will fulfill your different interests. You can check with www.tourismthailand.org for the places of interests in the 76 provinces. Or if you like, you can email me at tongbn@yahoo.co.uk with your interests in mind and I can offer you some suggestions to consider for your trip.

It will be quite alright for you to travel there alone, I should be able to provide some advices too.

Have a pleasant travel.
Everywhere is nice
If your travelling alone but dont want to stay alone your whole trip then you should head to Koh San rd. This is a really busy spot. Popluar with backpackers from all over the world. You could head north to Chiang Mai 1st then head to koh san rd meet up with some like minded people then head south to the islands to party hard!!
Have fun what ever ya do and like everywhere you use your common sence!
If you don't like travelling alone and want to find someone to accompany you, then Pattaya is a good place to go to first. Here is a description of Pattaya:

Once you find a suitable companion, then you can travel to many interesting and historical places in Thailand many of which are described in detail here:
