Where is the best place to go for ur honeymooon in india in dec?

would like to go somewhere warm and where there is a lot of culture.

Answers:
Goa is lovely - try Candolim

If you're not completely set on India though, I'd recommend Langkawi - an island off the coast of Malaysia. It's stunning scenery, fantastic wildlife, great food and is more laid back than Goa.

If you can stretch to it The Four Seasons at Langkawi is to die for and is a perfect honeymoon hotel.
the entire country is warm and teeming with culture
Goa for a honeymoon is probably best with a trip to Delhi at some point to see Taj Mahal.
GO TO GOA
May i just suggest you do NOT go to india. Go somewhere else but not india. I been there several times for business (also travelled to popular places like goa, himalayas..etc) and i can say that its a dirty, filthy country with really strange people always asking for money !

if you dont want to spoil your honeymoon go somewhere else.
I would suggest Goa. but make sure you stay in a decent hotel.
GOA
India is an absolutely beautiful country, and there are so many different places to see. Each area has a different culture. As the greatest monument of Love in the world, you must visit the Taj Mahal, in Agra for amazing history and architecture.. You'll learn lots abou the Mughal Empire. For the beach, Yes the south is amazing, Goa & Kerala are great honeymoon hotspots with golden beaches and delicious south Indian cuisine. Goa also has the best Spa (according to readers of Conde Nast Traveller) in the Subcontinent, at the Park Hyatt hotel. But for a truly majestic and royal feel, visit Udiapur, Neemrana has spectacular views, and the Lake Palace Hotel is really serene and beautiful.. and so so Romantic! Again, here you will learn a lot about the royal history of India which is so rich and amzingly romantic. Liz Hurley and Arun Nayar are getting married in Udiapur, damn they beat me to it! Agra, maybe a little cold to stay as it's a mountainous area, but you must at least go and see the Taj Mahal.
The backwaters of Kerala. Temperature is in the 20s and you have wonderful food, beautiful scenery, a sense of timelessness, sensuous ayurvedic massages. what else. God's own land ..nothing comes close.
Boisterous culture go to Punjab
Filmy culture go to Maharashtra
Muggers and Blackmailers go to Bihar it is improving
Tribal the Himalayas all year lest about 2/3 months in winter only towards warm it is s culture got to Madhya Pradesh
Historical culture all over India
Envoirment culture go to the Himalayas
Sleaze culture go to any of the big cities
Political culture Delhi
so any particular culture u should mention there are many other culture available by the way t
here are your options:
(1) Backwaters in Kerala - temperature would be warm
(2) GOA - need i write more ?!
(3) Delhi and Taj - Delhi will be a little cold in Dec (5-10C)
(4) Rajasthan - lot of culture and architecture
India is an ideal place to go in December, you should do a two stop honeymoon, firstly stop off at the cool city of Mumbai, one of my favourite cities in the world and hang out with the Bollywood set, then fly down to the amazing and beautiful Kerala, where you can sail through the back waters and see some elephants. Have a geat honeymoon!
If you want 'Culture', why the hell are you going to India? If culture to you means filthy polluted streets, corrupt politicians, dirty, uneducated, criminal, poverty-stricken, good-for-nothing people, then sure, go to India because you'll find all that and more there. If you are looking for anything with a touch of class I suggest you stay away from that Sesspool. Go to England, the country that once made that stain on the map important and gave their people education and clean living. It's amazing how much a bunch of backward thinking ignorant locals can take the work of the English and turn their country into the pit it is in the space of a little over fifty years. I'd bet you would still love to be part of the Empire now, wouldn't you?
What about Chennai? They have a beautiful beach.muhabali purim?? i dontn remeber if that is what it is called or not.
Head for Rajasthan. Go to Jaipur,Udaipur and Jaisalmer. You will love the Palace Hotels, The Romantic setting and the fascinating Culture on offer. The only problem is that if you are planning to go in Dec.2006, you are too late.Doubt if you will get any bookings in any good Hotels.December is peak season for Tourists for most of the Indian places and you have to book well in advance.Try your luck with Samode Palace Hotel, at Samode near Jaipur. It is one of the most Romatic settings.
