How do i see the queen while in london?

what places can i go to get a glimpse of the queen while in london

Answers:
It's going to be very rare you will see her. I've been living here all my life and I haven't even seen her in person! Your best chance to see her in real life is if she has a parade or a special event.
The best way is when they have the parade type events where the queen is in a horse-drawn carriage.
Phone Buckingham Palace and ask if you can make an appointment!
the chances of her actually being in London are pretty slim I'm afraid. unless there are any important ceremonies etc taking place.
i think the best way would be to request an audience with her.
if that doesn't work, peep in her bedroom window.
go to buckingham palace or open a cash note and have a look.
From a distance.
phone this number for a direct link to Buckingham Palace. they will give you an itinerary or make you and appointment.

Tel: 02079304832.. ask for Phil. he's always the most helpful.
You'll find loads of them at Piccadilly Circus!
if the flag is up at buckingham palace she will be in residense, wait till she's on her way back to sandringham and pounce on her bentley!! if any thing you'le get in the newspaper!!
Probably the best thing - certainly the easiest - is to see Helen Mirren in 'The Queen'.

The 'real' queen is unlikely to take your calls, and almost never comes round for tea.

Plus she actually spends a lot of time in Scotland and (unlike most Auzzie and US visitors to the UK) is rarely in London.

So use your time here to better advantage. go and find some of our REAL heritage. visit Avebury, go to York Minster, spend a weekend in Wales, take a canal trip around the midlands and see Shakespeare's birthplace.. there is sooo much more to see than one (much photographed) old lady glimpsed from a distance through a limo window.
through a sniper scope
On Saturday, you'll be able to see Elizabeth II at Heaven (Charing Cross Arches, Villiers Street London WC2N 6NG) although don't approach her, she'll be off her face.
Att other times, her usual haunts are McDonalds on Oxford Street & hanging around near the food stalls at Camden Market
Get a job with 'the sun' as a reporter. then get yourself a job as a gopher in the palace for a day and write an article exposing the shocking ease with which you could get witihin 9 miles of the Queen. But seriously, you're not very likely at all to be able to see her I' m afraid. DO NOT just stay in the south of England, it really doesn't give a good impression of our country. Go to Brecon Beacons in Wales or Devon (the most beautiful part of England) or Edinburgh. You've got Three countries on one island so visit them! Enjoy your trip and welcome to Britian!
If the flag is up at the palace then she is home if not she's out! Have you thought of Madame Tussauds?
Did you know that the Queen doesn't actually exist? Little know fact that is.
Just drop round to Buck House for tea, I’m sure you’ll be most welcome.
Walk down Old Compton Street there are loads of queens down there LOL
