Eating out in Galway?

My daughter has paid for a weekend trip to Galway and I want to take she and her husband out to dinner. They are not dressy up types but do like their food. Would appreciate some help.

O'Grady's at the end of the pier in Barna if they like seafood - excellent reputation.
Also for seafood head out of Galway to Leenane, there is one of the best seafood places I've ever eaten on a hill over the town, I couldn't dig up the name (I'm terrible with names) but I think from looking it up that it's Portfinn Lodge. Fantastic food and brilliant service, they even asked me to pop into the kitchens to consult with chef on how I'd like my food cooked. A group of us foodies had one of our best evenings ever out there by sheer accident.
I had the mussels last night
THERE SOME GREAT PLACES IN GALWAY ONE BEING THE RESTAURANT IN THE GREAT SOUTHERN IN THE SQUARE
THERE IS A FANTASTIC ITALIAN JUST OF THE MAIN HIGH STREET TO THE LEFT WALKING AWAY FROM THE SQUARE
BUT MOST PLACES ARE GOOD SO YOU WON'T GO TO FAR WRONG
If you're in or near the Salthill district, Da Roberta's can't be beat.
