If your inbetween the ages of 18-35 try Leeds. The nightlife was sooo fun. Pub to Pub it just got better and I hated to leave only to end up in a better place. Nice people, late night places to eat and all easy to travel by foot.

I'm a visitor from New Zealand, and I can honestly say Newcastle absolutely kicks a ss every time I go up there. The only worrying thing is that Geordies are absolutely incomprehensible when drunk. Or at any other time, come to think of it.
Birmingham is/was/will always be absolutley rubbish. Sorry Brums, but your nightlife needs a good kick in the trousers.
