I'd like to holiday in Vancouver. Any suggestions as to places to stay and itineries?

I'm hoping to spend 3 weeks in Canada. Flying from a London, England airport

If you stay in downtown Vancouver, then everything is only a walk/bus ride away. Things to do depends on what time of the year you visit. Vancouver gets alot of rain, but since you are from England, you should be fine with that! Summer is the best - there are lots of tours and festivals, suntanning on the beaches, sightseeing. In winter, you can ski in the local mountains. Places to stay? That all depends on what you want to spend. You can find hostels or really expensive hotels. Or somewhere inbetween.
The Sandman downtown is pretty reasonable for a hotel plus you are in the middle of everything.
