Ohmygod. Cornwall is just heaven. Last summer I walked the whole of the South West Coastal Path, from Minehead in Somerset right around the coast finishing at Poole in Dorset. All parts of Cornwall are great. The north is rugged and windy. The surfers are out and about and the seas are rough. The southside is more gentle. Depends what you are going for. Falmouth a beautiful town. Lots going on and very cosmopolitan. St Ives spectacular. What about Padstow just brilliant. Hop on the ferries and jump about. I went to Port Isaac in February on my tod and it was wonderful. Port Isaac, Tintagel, Bude. You will find it all just beautiful.

Go and see Tintagel. I've always wanted to do that.
Well Newquay for lots of surf, clubs and pubs, plus the young crowd looking for fun. Penzance is a good base for a quieter holiday, but some good pubs. Truro for theatre and shops.
