We've never been on the train, but we go on drives through the area. It's beautiful! This train goes through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. And it's VERY close to Akron. It may actually go through Akron at certain points, but I don't know for sure.
Depending on where you are - you could actually take a train ride many places - be sure you know what you're getting into however, as I've heard some horror stories about how long it takes to get places
