An Irish traffic question about Dublin:?
Does anybody know if you are traveling by car from the Malahide Road to Clontarf, can you take the little 'Howth road' slip road and turn left and then continue on to Clontarf? I always see guards/police stopping people in the bus lane near the slip road. Is this sliproad only for buses and taxis?

I have never seen any signs saying it is only for buses and taxis, indeed most of the users seem to be articulated trucks.
If you are worried about it, you could always take the previous left turn, Charlemont Road, and go from it to the Howth Road and then left to Clontarf.
The police stop people in the bus lane for using the bus lane, not for accessing the slip road.

Bus lana is only for buses, taxis and cyclists! i know where you're on about and i really don't think the slip road is for everyone!
Assuming you're coming down the Malahide Rd, then turning left towards Clontarf, you should position yourself in the right hand lane, for going straight on, not in the left hand lane, which is for left turns on to the Howth Rd only (except buses etc)
