I want to get a sponsorship in Australia, how do i do it?
I am a recruitment consultant and understand that this is very desirable in Oz for potential sponsorship. I have already used my working holiday visa so would like to know what agency gives the best support rec-rec in moving out there. I don't want to look into perm residency just yet as i have no LONG long term plans.

Find a company in Australia who understands your qualifications and feels your an asset to their company - they will sponsor you if they feel your good enough, if not, met a lovely aussie and marry them. It's not easy getting into the country usless you already have roots here or a heack of a lot of money. Have a look at www.dimia.gov.au they have listing of Skills of which you can have to come out here. They're the Australian Department of Immigration and will give you the correct answers to your questions. Also I advice you to look up what life is like here in Australia, it's very much different to any part of the world. Good luck.
G'day Alex D,
Thank you for your question.
There are a number of ways of approaching this. The first would be if your firm has an office in Australia. You could seek a posting in its Australian office.
If it doesn't, you might want to look for firms in your country that also operate in Australia. Many recruitment consultants specialise in areas such as IT, mining or health. Australia currently has record low unemployment so now is a good time to go. In fact, several areas such as Western Australia, Queensland and my hometown of Canberra are experiencing skill shortages. Areas in demand are resources, IT and health. The Australian Government is also filling hundreds of positions.
The Melbourne of University has compiled a list of the leading recruitment companies in Australia with links to their websites. I would advise having a look around and seeing if there are possible opportunities. Seek.com also has an A-Z list of companies as does the jobsearch network. Hays Specialist Recruitment is looking for people.
I have attached sources for your reference.
