Whats the weather like in the Dominican Republic?

I have my honeymoon booked for next August in the Dominican Republic, Whats the weather there like at that time of year?

Answers:
Tropical. It is the same as in Puerto Rico, Haiti or Cuba. Hot, with temperatures anywhere between 80-90's. Could rain a lot, August is right smack in the middle of hurricane season, so you could encounter bad, rainy weather, with tropical depressions turning into tropical storms and some likely into hurricanes. Check with the Weather Channel's tropical updates to see if something is forming in the Atlantic with the possibility of it heading for the Dominican Republic. I can't gather from your information if you mean Aug. 2006 or 2007.
I have no idea. All I know is here in England, it is pouring down..what a surprise!

Whatever the weather, I hope you have a great wedding and honeymoon too!!
Check out the weather at www.weather.co.uk where you can search for weather patterns
Hurricane season.
I guess it depends on where you're going there.
