Buying flights for thailand?

About to buy flight tickets for Bangkok (travelling in Jan 2007). Is there any benefit in waiting a while before buying - Xmas discounts etc?

Answers:
Hi
As a rule on schedule flights the eariler you buy the lower the price you get. As airlines book more passgenger they generally raise their fares.
it's usually the other way round and best to buy tickets asap,
try airline network normaly not bad
ive just had 3 weeks in thailand, went flight only with emirates and bought my tickets last minute for £435 wich was great value but had a 10 hour wait in dubai outward bound, january is high season in thailand so i think it would be wise to start searching for tickets now, good luck
Xmas discounts? What is that? That only applies to the retail sector.

Since 9/11, The airlines are operating leaner, they are operating fewer planes, using fewer workers, it is best to book as early as possible. A good time to book in the United States is after midnight Pacific Standard Time on a Tuesday. Or rather early Wednesday morning.

Good luck
