How to get a Australian tourist visa on South African Passport?

Does anyone know how to get a visa for a holiday (1 month) in Australia when you are traveling on a South African passport. Do you know how long it takes to get issued.

i had to get one from New Zealand. the quickest way is to go to the Australian embassy. i got it within and hour. not sure if thats the same in the U.K but its always quicker when you go in person. i had absolutly no problem!

..One month visa not a problem on SA passport. Best to go to Australia house in london. If my memory serves me well you can get 3,6 or 12 Month visas. The 12 monthly one is more difficult unless you are 30 and under and can show you have £3-4000 in a bank account. If you live in London, pop down there, you can usually get it issued in 1 day, unless its the yearly one you need. Good luck
