Will I have to apply for a working visa ?

I am a U.K national with valid birth certificate and passport. Will I have to apply for a working visa anyway - it seems really strict. I have been out of the country for five years since the last time I was on holiday there. I have lived out of the country in Canada for 26 years - my parents brought me there when I was 10.

Answers:
If you are still a British citizen you will not need a visa. However you may want to check your status in the country; when I left Canada ten years ago I had to register as a non-resident so that they would continue to seek tax from me. You may have to fill in something notifying Inland Revenue that you are back and want to work. If you last lived here as a resident aged 10 you will need a National Insurance number to work but they will give you one, after a certain processing time, once you are back here.
I would check with the embassy but i wouldn;t have thought so id you have a uk passport
i dont think you need a working visa if you're a Uk national. however, check on this website to make sure.
