How hot will it be in New York in November?

Also - im going to Goa in Jan - so how hot will it be there then?

It averages in the 20-30 degree range but has gone as high as the 50's. I live in Connecticut and I'm about 45 minutes from NY city so we have similiar weather.
Dress warm and bring hats and gloves. Oh yeah, we may have snow also!
New york will be bloody cold in November, don't know about Goa though.
