Do i have to move to the usa to get my work visa first or can i apply gor it while im still living in the uk?

im moving to the states but i want to know how i go about getting my work visa do i have to move there then get a job and my visa or what ?

H1B visa, allows you to work as soon as you get their apparently, go to the immigration website or have a look at the embasy website.

You have got NO chance of getting work visa.
I think its called a green card and you have to have it before you go
Apply to it before you leave for the states cause if you go there with no visa you will become "wanted" by the government over there and if they get you, you will not be aloud into the country for a certain amount of years. (dont know how many)
