What's the best location for honeymoon beach holiday in East Africa?
Thinking about Mombasa or Zanzibar but open to other suggestions.

Bamburi Beach, Mombasa is beautiful. The high tide comes right in, but when low tide, you can walk out almost to the reef. Beach boys are very keen to show you the way, but they do ask for quite a lot of Ksh/-. We did learn a lot from them though, so we just paid up.
African Safari Club flies from Gatwick direct to Mombasa and are also about the cheapest. They have seven hotels and we can recommend The Dolphin. The Africans are so welcoming in the Hotel.

Tip. If you want a hot air balloon ride on Safari, book in UK when you book holiday. Still no guarantee that you will go up though, as it depends on the weather.
