A bus that bends in the middle.
one that bends
It sounds like one of those extra-long buses, with an accordian-like section in the middle, that bends when it turns.
A bendy bus is a bus with two sections, the front is the main section and the bigger section as well but at the back there is another section and from inside and outside this is noticable, this section is smaller. When the bus turns the bendy bus turnsthe joint bends. This also helps this 18 metre long bus to go around corners easily. Hope this explaination is good enough for you

its a bus that bends in middle
Bendy buses were brought in to help with congestion, they are around 60feet long, and the driver has to have a special license to drive them, a normal Passenger service vehicle license is not good enough,Ive been-on them and they are great.
At 18 metres long, Bendy buses can carry up to 140 people
Bendy buses can be boarded using any of three doors. As low-floor buses they also offer improved access for all.

At 18 metres long, Bendy buses are able to carry up to 140 people - at least 60 more than a double-decker bus. Journeys are also more efficient as passengers must have a ticket before boarding and can board or alight from any of three doors, as in many cities on the continent.

in london they are call free buses
Its a really long bus that bends in the middle, its about 18 metres long, causes more traffic problems than it was designed to and they catch fire because of an elecrical fault. They are a stupid design for a city like London with small roads. These things need a turning circle of a tank.
