How old do you have to be to rent a car in Florida?
Answers:
Depends 21 at some places but most 25. If you are younger then 25 then they want more money for "liability" and they hold more money on your credit card. You need to have at least $500 on a card (yes they check) even if you are paying in cash and it is just a real hassle.

In texas i have rented a car when i was 19 but i had to have someone over 21 rent it with me. Then when i rented a car when i was 21 i had to have someone over 25 rent it with me to lower the cost of insurance. I think it just depends. If you are too young why don't you have someone of age rent the car with you?
u have to be 25
25 with a major credit card. Debit/atm cards are accepted if they have Visa logo. But when using the debit card there will be a hold depending on the company from 200-500 dollars. It is refunding at time of return of the car, and usually takes 1-7 days to hit your account.
