Going to Dublin in two weeks for the marathon, any suggestions on where to stay?

Answers:
The Clarence, the four sesons (they're unbelievably expensive though) and the clarion (outisde the city but a bus runs by to the city centre all the time, it's also across the road from one of Dublins shopping centres, Liffey Valley! and has a gorgeous leisure centre)
there are plenty of hotels and hostels to go at
The best hotel is without doubt the Four Seasons in Ballsbridge. I have stayed there over 25 times and it is impeccable.
I stayed at The Clarence. Small elegant hotel. I think it is owned by U2 Bono..not that it matters but if you feel like bragging it to your friends on your return, then I guess it does. *wink*. The bar on the first floor is nice and cozy and the great new age/ambient music they play adds to the mood. Walking distance to the Temple Bar area.

The best hotels, as I have found, are located in Ballsbridge. I always stay there and it has never dissapointed me.
