What is the population to land ration in America compered to England?

For thicko's this means how may people per square mile of land? I hear America only has 4 times the population of england but nearly 50 times the land mass.

Is this true?

US Area = 3,718,695 sq miles, population = 300,197,797 so heads per sq mile = 80.72

UK Area = 94,526 sq miles, population = 60,209,500 so heads per sq mile = 636.96

So the USA is 39 times larger than the UK, and has only five times the population; so the UK is nearly 8 times as densely populated.
if you are counting their heads it would equal twice the land mass.
