Have you been to Bahrain?
I might have the chance to go to Bahrain next year but don't know much about it. Has anyone been?
Answers:
Yes, a flying visit.

nope
yes and you will smell the camels!! just stopped over
Well, I have been there before. It's a great little country, very westernised and you'll feel as if you are in a nice city in Europe.. you have pubs, bars and beautiful restaurants and hotels.. The people are extremely nice, kind and polite.
If I have to choice to live and work in one of the Arab countries, I will definitely chose Bahrain.
Go ahead and don't worry, it's a pleasant country.
The only disadvantage is the very hot and humid weather.. but it's very pleasant in winter..
only to bahrain airport, whilst on the way to goa! but the general feeling i had about the country was clean rich and beautiful!.go and experience it, and let us all know!

I was there a few years ago. It was still being developed but was definitely worth the trip. It is a westernised country so you can drink, interact with women, and be out and about during prayer time. You just had to keep things low key. It was also cheap. I understand that the country has become more expensive (more because of the exchange rate making it expensive). The country is still just as relaxed as it was then towards westerners. You get all the westenr facilities such as good western accomodation, banking, shopping. The climate in winter is very nice but is too hot in summer (but they do have aircon in the newer buildings).I could quite easily spend a bit of time there if I was asked to go back on business.
i have been there other then shopping malls, 5 star hotels nothing there oh yes big mansions
its ok went their when i was in the army dueing the gulf war its ok not much out there and u like the woman
