Don't rely on your mirrors. Shoulder check for cars, that is a big one.there is a blind spot your mirrors don't see. yea right, cant see another car beside me.But it is true. And you for sure cant see a Motorcycle in that blind spot. You need a calm teacher who explains in a way you understand. Find out if you can switch teachers if they are not compatible. You will pass, look at all the other guys out there!
Brake lights always mean the vehicle in front of you is slowing down, but they never tell you how fast that vehicle is slowing. Don't ignore brake lights (it's easy to after seeing them go off and on for years), especially in icy of snowy conditions!
Yer ask for your money back and keep walking. UK roads are a mess, just one big car park.
Don't worry, I was scared too. Your instructor won't expect you to drive properly in your first few lessons, they'll take it very slowly and gradually. Just enjoy it because driving is so fun the first few lessons! After that it gets a bit monotonous.
Rescue remedy is great for nerves. It doesn't make you sleepy, just takes the edge off!! You can get it at any pharmacy nowadays. I should know, I failed my driving test 7 times but that was back in the day when RR wasn't around! Good luck!
You will be nervous hun, but your instruter will know that. Other road users (if they have any sense) will allow for the fact you are learning. Just go with the flow, you will be fine, i was a wreck, then passed my test 1st time, if i can do it, so can you..good luckxx
When you get in that car it's yours, you own it, drive it as if your instructor is just another passenger. If you do decide to go up for your test wear a uniform if you got one, it helps. Another thing, when i went for my test my examiner said that i showed no sign of nerves. I did so much running around that i was too tired to show nerves. Good luck, you'll be Ok!
When I was driving with the instructors I was really nervous too, if you're driving with the same person each time or the majority of,just talk to them. I was nervous and I feel like I talked her ear off. I even told her that I've wanted to try demolishen derby and racing and stuff. And how if I could do my driving test at 200mph, like in video games, that I'd probably pass. And she got nervous, and was like "Not today!!" haha. I don't know if this helps, but it's what I did. (And I just finished driver's ed this year, I got my permit in July.) ^_^
Remember to stay calm. That's the hardest part when you first start. It's like learning to walk.you aren't gonna do it perfect but after awhile you won't be so nervous and you will make less mistakes!
have a few pints and have a spiff smoke the lot and get snone u be ok then to past your test
