I was in Beijing in August there a couple of weeks ago. It is the hottest time of the year.
The humidity count is very high.
It was a great holiday and the people were great to me.

I have been there several times and was there 9th of August this year for a couple of days. It was very hot. They have the same seasons as in the U.K. but it is hotter in the summer and colder in the winter at least compared to the London area.
They have snow in the winter and women sweep the streets with brooms.

Bejing remember that they have a hot season, When i went to china in was easter so march some time, the weather was lovely but it does get very hot and i believe august is get close to the hottest time of year. If you don't have to go in August then don't put it off till easter time when the weather is pleasant.
Extremely hot enough I thought I would die of a heat stroke.
