Does anyone know how far liverpool town centre is from the airport, and can you catch a bus to the centre.?
Answers:
Hi, sure there are buses and its easy to sort your transport when you land. I agree with a previous comment and think its far easier to just catch a cab. The bus journey is terrible and takes forever. Do catch a cab... I must say though (and no offence to anyone from Liverpool) but I can not see the appeal of Liverpool. I took an Australian friend because he was desperate to go and I was so ashamed to be English! If its just site seeing go to Manchester,Newcastle,Bristol or London. Infact go anywhere else but Liverpool.

Yes there are buses. unfortunately the ride is vile and takes about 35 minutes. Take your Ipod and be carefull of shell suits!
Check out http://www.multimap.com they will give you distance and directions.
Why would you want to? Catch a plane to Manchester instead. Thats where it all happens.
yes there is buses, they stop about 4-5 min walk from airport. I would guees its £10-15 in a taxi, probally about 10miles. I would get the taxi, if you dont know where you are going, or what time buses are. Its only about 15mins in a taxi. Probally an hour on the bus.
Liverpool City Centre to Liverpool John Lennon Airport is approx 7-8 miles. Yes you can get a bus to the Centre of Liverpool from just outside the main entrance. You can get bus numbers 80A,82A,86A or 500. Ignore all the other idiots slagging Liverpool,it is a great city
